Teinatelie.com is an international online store and brand operated by the above-mentioned business.
By using Teinatelie.com or placing an order through the website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Scope of the Store
Teinatelie.com offers original paintings, art prints and commissioned artwork.
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through Teinatelie.com.
The website rudolfstudio.si is a separate online store operated by the same business and is intended primarily for customers in Slovenia. Purchases made through rudolfstudio.si are subject to the terms published on that website.
3. Products
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, dimensions and other information are accurate.
Because many of our products are works of art, minor variations in colour, texture, finish and appearance may occur due to photography, lighting, display settings and the individual nature of the artwork.
Original artworks are unique pieces. Unless otherwise stated, each original painting is sold as a single individual artwork.
Art prints are produced to order unless otherwise stated.
4. Prices and Currency
Prices are displayed on the website in the currency selected by the customer.
Teinatelie.com supports the following currencies:
- EUR
- USD
- GBP
- AUD
- CHF
Prices displayed at checkout include applicable taxes where required by the applicable rules.
Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout before the customer places the order.
The final price payable by the customer is displayed before the order is submitted.
5. Orders
An order is placed when the customer completes the checkout process and submits the order.
Before submitting the order, the customer has the opportunity to review and correct the order details.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that all information provided during checkout is accurate, including name, billing address, shipping address, email address and telephone number where requested.
After an order has been successfully submitted, the customer will receive an order confirmation by email.
The order confirmation does not affect any mandatory consumer rights applicable under law.
6. Payment
Teinatelie.com accepts payment by:
- credit and debit cards through WooPay;
- Apple Pay;
- Google Pay.
Bank transfer is not currently available as a payment method on Teinatelie.com.
Payment must be completed before an order is processed and, in the case of commissioned artwork, before production begins.
7. Commissioned Artwork
Customers may submit an enquiry for a commissioned artwork through the website.
The commissioned artwork process generally consists of:
Enquiry → discussion → sketch → written confirmation of specifications → 100% advance payment → production → delivery.
A commissioned artwork is only considered confirmed once the customer has approved the specifications in writing and the agreed price has been paid in full.
The agreed specifications may include, where applicable, subject, dimensions, style, colours, composition and other requirements discussed with the customer.
Because commissioned artwork is created according to the customer’s individual specifications, it may constitute personalised or made-to-order goods.
Where applicable law provides an exception to the statutory right of withdrawal for clearly personalised or made-to-order goods, that exception may apply. This does not affect any mandatory statutory rights relating to defective, damaged or non-conforming goods.
8. Production Times
Original paintings that are marked as available are normally ready for dispatch.
Art prints are produced to order and are normally dispatched within approximately two weeks from the order, unless a different timeframe is stated on the product page or otherwise agreed.
Commissioned artwork is produced according to the agreed schedule. The production time depends on the scope and complexity of the artwork and the artist’s current workload.
Any agreed production or delivery date will be communicated to the customer where applicable.
9. Shipping and Delivery
We currently ship paintings and art prints to the following destinations:
| Destination | Art Prints | Paintings |
|---|---|---|
| European Union | €20 | €50 |
| United Kingdom | €20 | €50 |
| United States | €30 | €80 |
| Australia | €40 | €80 |
| United Arab Emirates | €60 | €100 |
Worldwide shipping may also be available upon request.
Shipping costs shown above are indicative standard shipping rates. The applicable shipping cost for an individual order is the amount displayed at checkout or otherwise agreed with the customer.
The carrier may vary depending on destination, package dimensions, delivery requirements, availability and shipping cost.
Delivery times depend on the destination, carrier and circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
10. Customs Duties, Import Taxes and Other Charges
For shipments outside the European Union, the customer may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, customs clearance fees and other charges imposed by the destination country.
Such charges are determined by the authorities of the destination country and are not controlled by Teinatelie.com.
The customer is responsible for checking the import requirements applicable in their country before placing an order.
Where applicable taxes are collected at checkout, this does not necessarily mean that all import duties or local customs charges are included.
11. Delivery Problems
The customer should inspect the package and artwork as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If a package appears visibly damaged upon delivery, the customer should, where possible, document the damage and contact us as soon as possible.
If an item is lost, damaged or delivered incorrectly, please contact us at:
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits mandatory consumer rights concerning damaged, defective or non-conforming goods.
12. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers in the European Union
Where applicable, consumers in the European Union have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days, without giving a reason.
For goods, the withdrawal period generally begins on the day the consumer or a third party designated by the consumer receives the goods.
The right of withdrawal is subject to statutory exceptions.
One relevant exception concerns goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
Accordingly, the statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to commissioned artwork that has been specifically created according to the customer’s individual specifications.
This exception does not apply merely because an item is produced after an order is placed; the relevant statutory requirements must be met.
13. Exercising the Right of Withdrawal
Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, the consumer must inform us of the decision to withdraw before the expiry of the applicable withdrawal period.
The consumer may contact us at:
The consumer may provide their own clear statement or use the applicable withdrawal form made available by us.
After a valid withdrawal, the customer must return the goods without undue delay and, unless otherwise required by law, no later than 14 days after communicating the withdrawal.
Unless we have agreed otherwise or applicable law provides otherwise, the customer bears the direct cost of returning goods when exercising the right of withdrawal.
Refunds will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
14. Refunds
Where a consumer validly exercises the right of withdrawal, we will reimburse the payments received in accordance with applicable law.
This generally includes the cost of standard delivery selected by the customer, but does not include additional costs resulting from the customer’s choice of a more expensive delivery method.
We may withhold reimbursement until the returned goods have been received or the customer has provided evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs earlier, where permitted by applicable law.
15. Legal Guarantee and Non-Conforming Goods
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits statutory consumer rights.
For consumers in the European Union, goods are subject to the applicable statutory legal guarantee for conformity.
Where goods are defective or do not conform to the contract, the consumer may have rights to repair, replacement, price reduction or refund in accordance with applicable law.
The minimum EU legal guarantee for consumer goods is generally two years from delivery, subject to applicable national rules and exceptions.
16. Complaints
Customers are encouraged to contact us directly with any complaint or issue:
Please include, where possible:
- order number;
- name;
- description of the issue;
- photographs of the product or packaging where relevant.
We will review complaints and respond within a reasonable period.
Mandatory statutory complaint and consumer protection rights remain unaffected.
17. Intellectual Property
All photographs, artwork, text, logos, graphics, designs and other content published on Teinatelie.com are protected by applicable intellectual property laws unless otherwise stated.
The purchase of an original artwork or print does not transfer copyright or other intellectual property rights in the artwork to the customer unless expressly agreed in writing.
The customer may not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit or otherwise use artwork beyond the rights granted by law or expressly agreed in writing.
18. Website Use
Customers may use Teinatelie.com for lawful purposes only.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update product information, change availability and make reasonable technical or content changes to the website.
We do not guarantee that the website will always be available without interruption or technical errors.
19. Personal Data
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal data submitted through the website, including information provided during purchases, enquiries and newsletter subscriptions.
20. Cookies
Teinatelie.com uses cookies and similar technologies.
Information about the categories of cookies, their purposes and the customer’s choices is provided in our Cookie Policy.
Where consent is legally required, non-essential cookies will only be activated after the required consent has been obtained.
21. Newsletter and Marketing
Customers may voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter.
Newsletter subscriptions are separate from the purchase process and are not required to place an order.
Subscribers may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism included in our marketing emails.
Personal data used for newsletter marketing is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
22. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded.
Nothing in this section affects mandatory consumer rights or statutory remedies.
23. Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, strikes, transport disruptions, customs delays, government actions, widespread technical failures or similar events.
Where such circumstances affect an order, we will take reasonable steps to inform the customer.
24. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia, unless mandatory provisions of the law applicable to the consumer provide otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions deprives consumers of mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in their country of residence.
Where applicable, consumers may also use available alternative dispute resolution or consumer protection mechanisms provided by the relevant authorities.
